Old Master Vs Young Master, Who Is Better?

Question:

Wisdom grows with age. Should I consider an old practitioner or a young one? The young one may be inexperience when he has not even tasted the sweet and sour part of life, whereas the older ones may have, eaten more salt in his lifetime then, the younger ones eats rice in his lifetime.

Answer:

On one account, we were consulted about a young family, where the wife could not tolerate staying with her in-laws and wanted to move out. But strange occasions happened when his daughter at the tender age of 5 years old, told this to her mother, “… Mummy, we cannot move out away from Yeh-yeh (grandpa) and Mah-mah (grandmum). If we were to move out, the heart of love would be broken …” Hearing this from her daughter, the wife decided to stay on and make the better sides of people.

It is the stubbornness in us that made our heart hardened and it grows with age. Definitely not wisdom. So the practitioners these days, are not championed by a sole individual that appears to embrace Hero-worship, celebrity Master, He is holier then You and so forth, but by a coming together of liked minded people, who practices the art with sincerity and who also walks the path of Dao.

These are the group who has all layers of age differences eliminated, as they consist of practitioners of different ages and generations. Better, they are all well established on their own rights, with families, children, career, health and wealth. It is no longer an individual, but a collective whole.

Similarly so, with the genesis of the FengShui families.
